and I had a birthday! now I’m officially the nice, solid round number of 35- ugh. anyway, I celebrated with dear friends and really wanted to consider the value of this birthday, which was making sure I had quality time with friends. no wild parties, no staying up late, no dancing. okay, the ‘no dancing’ part was really hard to accept, but all in all, I had a perfect day. a good friend of mine had been staying with me, so we made the most of the day by going to breakfast at Tasty ‘n Sons (my fave!), strolling through the Chinese Garden, having tea at the teahouse, and then drinks and dinner at The Observatory.

and now just what happened to August?! I can’t believe it’s September already! the best part about that is that my favorite season is going to be here soon- I adore Fall. it’s magical.
